On January 28^th, USCIS resumed premium processing for all Fiscal Year (2019) H-1B Cap Petitions. This includes those who are also eligible for advanced degree exemptions. H-1B visas allow for employers to hire skilled workers for various occupations. Those who have received requests for evidence (RFE’s) should include their evidence with any requests for premium processing that they submit.

USCIS guarantees those who have filed for premium processing a 15-day processing time. If that time has passed and no action has been taken, USCIS will refund the processing service fee to the petitioner and continue to act in an expedited manner. It should be noted that this service is only available for pending petitions, not new submissions.
