USCIS Extends Existing COVID-19 Leniency for Responding to Agency Requests

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, USCIS is extending its 60-day deadline extension for responding to or filing Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), Notices of Intent to Revoke or Rescind (NOIRs), Notices of Intent to Terminate (NOITs), Form I-120B appeal/motion filing requirements to reopen an adverse USCIS decision, and Form N-336, Request for a Hearing on a Decision in Naturalization Proceedings filing date. This flexibility is extended to the above matters if the issuance date listed on the request, notice or decision is between March 1, 2020 and January 15, 2022.
