USCIS Expands Credit Card Payments for Processing Fees

US Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) announced on February 14th 2018 that it will now accept credit card payments for the filing process of most forms. Credit cards payments to the USCIS are now accepted for the 41 fee-based forms processed at USCIS Lockbox facilities. An applicant may make a payment via Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover and must complete the G-1450 Form for Authorization for Credit Card Transaction.

To protect identity and credit card information security, payment data is entered into the pay.gov system, overseen by the US Department of the Treasury, and the Form G-1450 is destroyed.

Additionally, USCIS has been accepting credit card payments since 2015 for applicants who file online for naturalization and those renewing or replacing their Green Cards.

Current versions of all USCIS forms are available free at uscis.gov/forms.
