USCIS Announces Additional Mail Delivery Process for Receiving ADIT Stamp

Lawful permanent residents now have the option to “receive temporary evidence of their lawful permanent resident status by mail instead of physically visiting a field office to receive an Alien Documentation, Identification, and Telecommunication (ADIT) stamp.”

The ADIT stamp may be needed if a lawful permanent resident does not have their green card or if their I-90 application, N-400 application or I-751 petition is in pending status, but the Green Card and extension notice are expired. For further details, please read the original article.
