Department of Homeland Security has issued “a new TPS designation for Lebanon for 18 months … [which will allow those approved to remain in the US legally].” “… Lebanese nationals (and individuals having no nationality who last habitually resided in Lebanon) who have been continuously residing in the United States since October 16, 2024…” will be deemed eligible to apply for TPS. For information on how to apply for TPS, please read the Federal Register notice.

A separate Federal Register Notice was published on October 17, 2024 providing information to Lebanese nationals on how to apply for the Employment Authorization Document under the DED grant established by President Biden on July 26, 2024.
