On July 17, 2017 USCIS released a new version of Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. Use of the prior version of the form (Revision date 11/14/2016) can be used by employers through September 17, 2017. On or after September 18, 2017, employers must use the form with the July 17, 2017 revision date. Please see the USCIS news release here.

USCIS has revised the form to allow additional Acceptable Documents, such as a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (Form FS-230), and has renumbered List C documents.
