The U.S. Department of State has announced that the online registration period for the 2016 Diversity Visa Program (DV-2016) will begin on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at 12:00pm Eastern Daylight Time. The registration period will end on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 12:00pm Eastern Standard Time. All applicants must submit entries electronically using the electronic DV entry form (E-DV). Applicants are encouraged not to wait until the final week of registration as heavy demand could result in technical delays.
