USCIS has announced that the initial registration period for the FY 2024 H-1B cap will open at noon on March 1, 2023 and run through noon on March 17, 2023. During this period, U.S. employers can submit electronic registrations for their prospective H-1B employees. If more electronic registrations are received than the H-1B cap, USCIS will randomly select a number of registrations needed to meet the cap. Prospective petitioners will be notified by March 31 and the selected registrants will then be eligible to file a full H-1B petition. More information to follow.
