CBP Advises First-Time Canadian TN or L-1 Visa Hopefuls to Apply at Specified POEs

Beginning in mid-September, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is advising first-time Canadian TN or L-1 visa candidates to seek U.S. entry through one of fourteen designated Ports of Entry (POEs). CBP emphasized that prospective TN and L-1 visa holders may continue to go to any POE along the Canadian border for processing; however, applicants are encouraged to process through the designated POEs to receive optimal processing.
