USCIS Publishes New I-9 Forms

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has revised the Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, which is used verify the identity and employment authorization of all new hires. Employers are required to use the revised Form I-9 effective January 22, 2017, but the new forms are available for use now. USCIS believes that the new forms will reduce errors, improve ease of use on the computer, and include additional prompts and clearer questions to streamline the process.
