On June 28, 2023, USCIS launched a new tool that allows beneficiaries, “…their attorneys and accredited representatives to reschedule most biometric services appointments before the date of the appointment” online instead of calling USCIS Contact Center. The option to request appointment change by phone is still available, but USCIS strongly encourages beneficiaries to utilize the online tool. One must create or log in to their USCIS online account to gain access to the new tool; “however, [it] cannot be used to reschedule an appointment that already has been rescheduled two or more times, is within 12 hours, or that has already passed.”
