USCIS Selects More H-1B Registrations for FY 2022 H-1B Cap

USCIS has completed a second round of H-1B lottery selections this week. The second "lottery" was conducted because the initial H-1B lottery selection did not result in enough petition filings to meet the H-1B cap, despite USCIS receiving more registrations for selection in the H-1B cap lottery than last year.

The petition filing period based on the new round of registrations selected on July 28 will begin on August 2, 2021 and close on November 2, 2021. Individuals with selected registrations will have their myUSCIS accounts updated to include a selection notice.
