Elijah is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Asheville where he obtained a B.A. in History with department honors and Magna Cum Laude in 2022. His degree focused on records management, data management and archives. Additionally, he is currently studying at NC State University for his M.S. in Technical Communication where he plans to focus on government regulation and technical documentation. Over the course of his gap year between his studies, Elijah gained experience working in local city government as the records specialist for the City of Brevard in North Carolina where he helped regulate documentation standards; this regulatory effort helped the city meet the expected FBI document audit standards required. He was also a junior archivist and researcher during his time at UNCA where he completed a semester long internship in the universities Special Collections Department. Elijah hopes to combine his interest in technical communication and organization to better assist those in need of our immigration services through understanding the complex process better.

Elijah moved to the Raleigh area midway through 2024 and joined Edgerton Immigration as a legal assistant shortly after. He enjoys reading, painting, and making use of the incredible greenways Raleigh has to offer.
