Service Transition Announcement for Visa Applicants from Canada

PDF Print
Wednesday, 08 September 2010 10:37

As of September 1, 2010, the US Mission in Canada has transitioned to a new appointment  service.

Services such as calling for information and scheduling an appointment will be provided for no additional cost, with no requirement that applicants pay phone charges or PINs to access the services.  However, applicants are now required to pay their machine readable visa (MRV) fees prior to scheduling an appointment.  All appointment scheduling will be done through CSC Visa Information Services, which may be accessed here.

If you paid your MRV fee prior to September 1, 2010 but did not schedule an appointment by October 1, 2010, you will have to pay your MRV fee again through the new service before scheduling an appointment.
